About Convection Toaster Ovens

Convection toaster ovens are better than traditional toaster ovens because of the fact that they also circulate the heated air using a fan. Usually, a fan motor is kept inside of a separate enclosure which protects the toaster from overheating and possibly melting any of the plastic components, including the wire insulation.

Food Bakes Quicker in a Convection Toaster Oven

Food will tend to warm faster inside of a convection toaster oven. The fan inside of the oven circulates the air, removing the thin layer of air around the food, which otherwise insulates the food. The convection then reduces cooking time.

Bake More Evenly

By moving the hot air past the food, convection toaster ovens can generally operate at a significantly lower temperature than many standard conventional toaster ovens while cooking food more quickly. The convection, or "air circulation" also tends to eliminate any hot spots in the food, allowing it to bake more evenly.
